Following the Desert Feet Tour earlier this year, and BHP’s generous donation of band equipment, we have started our own band! Simon Phillips (pictured – one of the Desert Feet guys) came to spend a week with us in Yandeyarra. The band currently has a number of names, one of the favourites being ‘Captain Highway and the Herberts’, but we have settled on ‘Yande Band’ for now.
We got to learn, play and record our own songs (soon to be released) and we had a concert at the pool. A pretty nice way to end a week of hard work. Thanks Simon for all your help.
