QUBE Road Train Safety Awareness Program
As part of QUBE’s road train safety program, Yandeyarra School received a visit from QUBE and Sandfire Resources staff.
There are many QUBE trucks along the highway near Yandeyarra, transporting IronOre, Copper, Mineral Sand, Salt, Lithium, Manganese and Coal. The visit provided students with some information on QUBE, the resources they transport and road safety awareness.
Students particularly enjoyed learning about Copper, and got to see lots of samples. After the presentation, students had the opportunity to see a QUBE truck, inside and out, then enjoyed a BBQ lunch. In addition to a copper sample, everyone received a show bag to take home.
