Yandeyarra Hospitality Students have an Experience of a Lifetime!

SWIT Margaret River – for Kambarang
Shonoah Coppin, Jamie-Lee Flatfoot and Jessica Gordon travelled from Yandeyarra to Margaret Ricer, joining other Aboriginal students from Fitzroy Crossing and Perth schools.
The week long event included a series of Masterclasses, where students worked with a range of industry professionals to master the art of coffee making, cooking desserts and pork belly, and preparing a range of foods for Friday’s Gourmet Lunch.
The main event was a long table lunch as part of the Margaret River Gourmet Escape, where students cooked, plated and served approximately 120 guests, working with superstar chefs Mark Olive, Josh Whiteland and many other experts. The day was a huge success, thanks to all the hard work from the team at Prepare, Produce, Provide and the support staff from kitchens and schools alike.
